EducaLibre 2026 : call for contributions and participation

Hello everyone!

Digital technology is now everywhere, particularly in education. But it does not always respect the values and criteria we hold dear, and it is time to ask the right questions: what kind of digital world do we want for education ?
In order to break free from proprietary formats and software and to no longer be under the yoke of unfair online services, many free and fair alternative solutions exist, they are often free of charge and easy to use, and it is time to take an interest in them and to promote them.
« We do not inherit the digital world from our ancestors, we prepare it for our children! »
To this end, we are organizing the first French-speaking international conference on the subject, Éducalibre, in Brussels on 4, 5 and 6 July 2026, and we invite you to give a talk or hold a stand.
You will have the opportunity to submit several types of contributions:

  • A short presentation (or demonstration) of 35 min
  • A conference talk of 1 h 20
  • A workshop of 2 h 50

We will also offer round tables.
A wide audience is expected, from the educational community but also more broadly all people interested in digital citizenship.
Proposals must fall within the scope of digital technology for education, education about digital technology, and digital citizenship.
For professionals, it will be an opportunity to showcase your expertise and to meet as many interested people as possible. You can contact us directly for a stand or for financial participation in the form of sponsorship at org@educalibre.eu
We are at your disposal for any further information, and do not hesitate to submit your proposals, to move forward together towards a digital world that is free, open, fair, supportive and sustainable.
We look forward to hearing from you,
The Éducalibre organising committee

Submissions close on 2026-04-22 00:00 (Europe/Brussels), 3 days, 9 hours from now.
